So what exactly is Chairwars?

The Chairwars competition started in the year 2000. It began as a competition involving competitors sitting on chairs (with wheels) and a few ramps (or the office floor). The object of the competition is to knock your opponent off of their Chair, and hopefully look pretty stylish while doing it. Whoever is left sitting is the winner.

There are of course rules to the game which must be followed. These can be viewed on the rules page.

The Competition

Chairwars can be arranged anywhere, any time, however we will arrange the official competition which anyone may enter. Notification of the upcoming events will be posted here and in the forum with all the relevant details. Please feel free to discuss any of your experiences in the Forum and let us know about them.
Photographs, video footage, news and results of the Competitions will all be posted after the event.

Chairwars as an extreme sport

We are looking to develop chairwars as an extreme sport and wild hobby, but not just that. We want it to be the best known extreme sport in the world. If you want to play chairwars all you need is a chair with wheels, an opponent, and a space to play in, ideally a ramp or slope. Check the rules page for more details on how to play.
